I am on session two of the program, and my anxiety has been at an all time high. I think because I am telling myself that I need to be seeing a difference, and maybe this won't work for me. I am having a really hard time.

Mostly I feel like I am constantly in a fog, and the the only way to get relief is to sleep. Not only that but I feel like I lash out at the people I love a lot. I HATE that! They only want to help.

I don't want to be like this anymore. I know that it takes time to get better, but its hard to me to imagine not feeling like crap all the time...HELP

Keep with it. I have to push myself alot of the time. I make myself do things I don't want to. I just do it while I am having anxiety. I figure if I am gonna be in a "fog or funk" that I am going to still be the most productive I can be. Sometimes I just go outside and sit in the sun. That can make a difference. Find something, anything that you like to do and do it. If you can't here is one other thing I do and it sounds kinda silly but it works. SING! I sing horrible but I pick a happy song and sing it loud and proud. Even if all I can think of is "The Wheels On The Bus". Just a side note tho, you might not want to do this in a group. LOL!

Keep doing the program, listen to the relaxation CD, and give yourself a break. You are likely undoing years of negative work and you can't do it overnight. Even tho we all want to so dang badly! You are in my prayers!

Dear Anna, Just keep saturating yourself with the material, listen to the cds and dvds over and over, i find that while you are listening and or watching the panic stays away because you are paying attention to something other than yourself, so relax, try not to worry and spend as much time as possible on the material, even if it takes up you entire night, it will really start to help, then, if all else fails, go in the bathroom, turn your blowdryer on and blowdry your face for a minute or 2, if feels real good, makes you laugh like you are blowing the troubles away, I am not kidding i tried it. Ha, Ha, now have fun and relax, it will all pass eventualy, takes a little time.
