Every now and then I get this tention in the upper part of my stomach, and it wont go away until it is ready, if I get up to do something it only gets worse and then I have breathing problems.
About a year ago, I was working on 3 weeks of having this tenion and was fed up, I needed help and my meds were not helping. So I wanted to go to an Accupuncturist. I had my cousin go with me while I was driving, well, on the way there I had a major panic attack and had to pull over to the side of the road and sit for about a half hour until I felt like I could move, my cousin drove the rest of the way. When I arrived, I was so tense, shaking and in a mild sweat, couldnt think straight or talk right. The accupuncturist took 1 look at me and took me straight back. We talked for about 15 minutes about what I was dealing with and she said she thought she could help me. I was skeptical but like I said I needed relief. I was afraid to get more than one needle so we agreed on just one, and let me tell you, and this is no lie, within 5 seconds, I was feeling relief. 10 minutes passed and my hands were no longer in a fist, my body was relaxing and I loved it. It helped. I went a few times but since insurance dont pay for it I had to stop. This may not work for every one, I just know it helped me and I thought I would pass that on for anyone who might want to try it.

i've found it helpful, too. accupressure might help folks who aren't ready for needles.
