Stress Center Peer Support

I did the program and it was great. It has helped me very much but last week I got the flu. It started with sick to my stomach and then explosive direah and I got scared thinking I was going to die. I have been getting heartburn and I keep getting scared and ending up with anxiety attacks. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

OMG! Yes, I have been going through this the past 2 weeks. I keep thinking I have horrible diseases. My doctor wants me to do all these tests and I am scared of the tests and I just want to get rid of this scary, nervous feeling. HElp, Lucinda!
I haven't receivd program yet, ordered 7 days ago, Hope it gets here soon. Can't WAIT to get STARTED!!!!

I just ordered the program also am expecting to receive it next myself week. I cant wait to get started I want to rid myself of the nervous feelings also

I had completed the program 2 years ago and was doing just fine until the entire family got the flu last week. The flu symptoms reminded me of my previous stomach problems and sent me into a panic. I hope this is just a small bump in the road and not a relapse.

mkdm70, I totally understand what you are saying. I have asthma/allergies & my anxiety increases when I have sinus congestion and have to mouth breathe. I kinda start to panic if I cannot breathe through my nose. I am still getting pleanty of air through my mouth, but still my anxiety goes up.

I know this feeling, exactly. Whenever I get anxious I get sick. Whenever I get sick I get anxious. They seem to go hand in hand for me and it's very hard to tell which one comes first. Whenever I have something to do that is anxiety producing for me I start panicking that I'm going to get sick and have to either go there sick or cancel(again) and feel stupid. It's a viscious cycle. I always get sick to my stomach and can't eat and get diahreah. I don't know what to do either. help
