I have been getting these feelings like I am weak and shaky kind of like when your sugar gets low. But the thing is it happens even when I know that their is no way that it could be because I have just eaten. It scares me I feel so weird! I am sure it is just a new symptom of anxiety but it is always scary when you get a new symptom!! It seems like when you finally get to where your symptoms don't bother you anymore you get a different one and have to go through the fears again!

Hi gavinsmom, I know what you mean. Maybe you should get your sugar checked just to prove to your self that it is anxiety. I use to do that and somtimes still do esp. right after lunch. Now I just try to save a little down time during that time to think of my relaxation tape. It seems to help if I can remember to be calm. I try not to drink much caffiene too... It seems if you can prove that its just anxiety and you remember IT WILL GO AWAY it helps...

Caffeine does that to me even if I just had a hershey kiss...I'm just very sensitive to it. I also get like that if I am hungry even if I ate already that day...sometimes even if I just at an hour ago and it always seems worse if I've eaten. Meaning if I had nothing all day it's not as bad as if I had something for breakfast and am just hungry again...not sure why that is. BUT I will also get the shakes like that if what I just ate had a lot of sugar in it...may be something to consider. It's like my sugar goes from too low, to too high and just makes me feel like crap.
Try journaling about it...when it happens write what you just ate, what you were feeling and doing before...maybe you can pin point the issue

that was a great post gavinsmom and couldnt be more true. i think of anxiety and panic disorder as a beast that just wont let up, once you conquer one symptom and no longer fear it anymore, that beast will bring on another one to try to get fear because that is how he gets his power. no fear, no power and that is why the anxiety changes forms and keeps bringing on different and new symptoms. i know just how scary that is, for i deal with that myself. its so comforting to see how common these symptoms are for all of us. how so many of us go through the same things, its awesome to know that when u are having some body symptom or thoughts that u can come into these forums and no matter what it is that u are dealing with at the time, u will see that others have the exact same body symtoms and or thoughts and that helps so very much just to know your not alone. god bless!
