As strange as this sounds I at times feel like I am grieving a loss as I become more positive. I am such a negativaholic that the mental sobriety of thinking more positive, compassionate thoughts, although very welcome, brings some grieving feelings- does this make sense? or am I thinking too much and the grieving is my negative thinking?
your thoughts and comments,please.

You're not alone in this. I suffer mostly from anxiety and OCD thoughts. I've been working on relaxing which has diminished the thoughts. Now, I find myself feeling weird that my head is clear. I think this is probably pretty common on the road to getting better.

Boy have you have identified a valuable stage in this progression!!! I seem to also be clinging on to my old ways of eating and thinking - like for dear life!!!!

I think also there is a fear of the unknown here. A peacfull, happy, healthy life is not something I have practiced, but I will use my postivie dialogue to tell myself, I am comfortable with my new ways of being!!!

Thanks for bring this up!!! :)

This is very common as we begin to change. Remember, anxiety/OCD is a "control" thing, and change can be unsettling. This can mean only ONE thing, That your doing a good job!! Keep it up! see, there is light at the end of the tunnel :) ;) :D CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
