I have been feeling lightheaded/dizzy for a few weeks now -- it seemed to begin with the onset of my last period and I can't seem to shake it. I did go to a PA about it and she told me it was anxiety and gave me yet another drug to try, which I didn't because I don't do meds very well (and I don't believe that is the solution to everything). She also had a full CBC/metabolic panel run and since I never heard anything back I assume everything was as fine as it has been like the numerous other times I had blood drawn this year for other ailments. I am just getting frustrated with this and not sure if I need to go for a second opinion. Has anyone experienced this symptom for a prolonged period? I have noticed that it does come and go -- it mainly goes at night or when I am busy thinking of something else. It even dissipated when I stopped worrying about aneurysms, MS, cerebral hemorrage, and any other frightening thing I could think of and started trying to think positive about things. Then, when I "check in" on myself it is there again. No other symptoms like fainting, blurred vision, balance issues, and so forth accompany it. Although using my eyes, especially on puter aggravates it quite a bit. It's just a nag. I dont' know how to get rid of it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hugs to all! Wiskers ~
P.S. Please note I have had several EKGs run on me this year, an echo, and even a CT scan of my brain a couple of months ago and everything was just fine.
