Stress Center Peer Support

O.K. I have a situation, my husbands mother and step father just lost thier house it's in foreclosure, so yesterday my husband said his mom wanted to know if she could stay with us for a couple of weeks. My anxiety went up, and this is why. For about 2 years I've had about 4 relatives staying with me on and off, because they weren't doing what they were supposed to do. His mom has been back and forth here over 4 timesfor a couple of months each time because she didn't know if she wanted to be in ct or sc. I'm not trying to be mean but I am tired everytime someone has a problem the first place they want to stay is my house, and thier is other family around where I live and they never volunteer. So basically I just wanted to know your guys opinions. Thank You!

Wow, talk about being between a rock and hard place. I know you are probably one of those people that has always taken care of everyone else and everything else before yourself but it seems to me you've already given your share and if the others don't understand that then they aren't being very supportive of you. Maybe you could all sit down and talk it out and they might realize that this would be too much of an imposition on you and your family and will make other arrangements.
