Does anyone take Lucinda's Positive Mood supplements and if so do they work and to you take them with prescription medications for depression/anxiety?

There are 4 pills in each daily Good Days packet:

* 2 Multi-Mega Formula Tablets (tan colored)
* 1 Omega-3 Heart & Mood Forumlas (see-through gel cap)
* 1 Positive Mood Formula (orange colored)

The Positive Mood tablet contains 5-HTP which is NOT safe to be taken if you are already taking antianxiety/antidepressant medication.

I take Celexa every day so taking the Positive Mood tablet isn't an option for me.

I do think vitamins are really important so I just take the two Multi-Megas and the Omega-3 pill and throw the Positive Mood pill away.

Thanks for your responses. I did call CVS pharmacy and the pharmacist said do not take any herbal supplements with your meds. I am actually on an MAOI and that is the drug I was worried about. But she said it was not safe with any of my antidepressants.

Thanks for your responses.

Hi Everyone,

I just came across this topic and it caught my attention. I'm entering my 28th week of pregnancy tomorrow do you if it's safe to take these pills while pregnant?

Thanks,

Cristy

I would check with your doctor.

I guess it depends on the medication we are prescribed by our doc - relative to his classification of our illness. I take Klonopin. I also take my aby aspirine, I take multivitamines, I take GNC anti-cholesterol gels. I was able to have the doc drop my klonopin from 3 pills per day to 1. I do take the multi from Lucinda. I showed all my vitamines to the doc. He was OK. So, the best thing to recommend, take the different herbals and show them to your doc.
