YES, YES, YES, I have had both and it is anxiety for most of us. It's a part of the body symptoms and will ease off and stop once you can calm yourself with positive self talk and exercise helps also. Watch foods and drinks high in caffiens and sugars as this will cause the anxiety to worsen for many and will cause too many hormones and blood sugar levels to change drastically causing the same symptoms.

This is very, very common and will not cause permanent harm...just feels horrible.

If you havn't seen a doctor you maybe should just get checked out to be sure everything is ok...it usually is!!

Well Wishes, Be Good To You!!

I'm not sure what I have but something has been going on with me...check out one of my posts I wrote about my heart you should be able to find it in my profile under user posts..not sure if it's similar or not. It's possible I may have atrial fibrilation cause it runs in my family but I have to be checked yet to be sure.

Yup. I've had that. When I called for the tapes, I recall that's one of the questions they asked me about when I placed my order. That made it feel to me like it must be common to feel stress in that way.

You're in the right place -- working the program!

Yes, I have that especially when I am waiting for my turn in a competition. I also find it is really bad if I drink a lot of coffee.

Yes! I have had this, particularly when I am trying to wind down for bed. I've gotten it a couple times while working out also, thus making it hard for my heart rate to come back down. Most often I experience my heart skipping some beats. It's a little scary, but it does seem like a symptom of anxiety. I have had EKGs just to make sure nothing else was wrong. Sometimes I get a painin the left side of my chest, too.

I get the same thing. Sometimes I get it before I even feel the anxiety, that really freaks me out! It sometimes happens when Im laying down just trying to relax or go to sleep. I get scared that Im going to die but eventually I do fall asleep and Im always here in the morning. For me its the scariest symptom but apparently its one of the most common. Funny thing is sometimes my heartbeat is only a beat or two faster than my husband's and he doesnt have anxiety! Its amazing how sensitive we can be to every little thing going on in our body.
