I've been hurt so many times. I don't know if it matters who I've been hurt by, whether it be women, management in the workplace, or whether I'm prejudice against white people or black people, I think I have a problem with assumption.
How can I prevent myself from making assumptions on an entire group? The main problem I have is women. If you'll hear part of my story, I've been hurt, made fun of, etc... and my mother was never really very warm and loving. I think she might have had some anger when a was a kid.
The way I feel is that, even though women are automatically thought of as motherly, caring, and 'sugar and spice', oftentimes they seem like nothing of the sort. They can be downright cruel and viscous.
I know women who are wonderful people though, but I'm still having a hard time getting past my feelings of 'most' women.
Please help. Give me some tips.
