I have not been able to eat "real" solid foods for over a month now. I feel like my body is shutting down and I am really scared. I am forced to sip Ensure and eat things like applesauce and rice krispies. With this diet, I am losing weight at a very fast rate.

I want to be able to eat the things I once did- fast food, chicken, etc., but I'm afraid that I will be like this forever.

I had that too, lost a lot of weight. I started eating soup and crackers, bananas..something soft. Lots of juice for Vitamin C. After that I started eating regular normally. Understand it might take time. It did for me. Now I can eat better and normal food but sometimes I just dont feel like eating regular food. Cereal and milk was also good at the time. the last thing the ensure once a day helped me get my apetite back. Be patient, trust me it will work.

and not you will not be like that forever. Do not obsess because you can not eat your normal diet, just take it day by day and it will get better...eat what you can and that will help you get your apetite back. Trust me I know!

Eating and weight loss were very much part of my anxiety in the beginning, and kind of still are. I have lost 33 lbs in 60 days. A lot of my anxiety started after a severe choking experience. I just wouldnt eat no more. But I soon found out that eating was very important and also chewing my food was very important. Chewing a lot, Also, with drinking a bunch of water helped me regain my appetite. Eat like a bird, then you will regain your eating habits. They wont be the same as they were before, because really now, you will be alot more healthier than you were!
