Hi I really need an accountability Buddy. Someone I have a PM relationship that we each send PMs telling each other what we have done in the program for the day. Please someone tell me how to find a mentor or accountability buddy. thanks Jerri

Hi Teshua, ive been wandering the same thing i dont know anybody personally that suffers with anxiety it would be nice to have a mentor that i could touch base with

I was very fortunate in that I found a buddy early in the program when I first started. It was extremely helpful and frankly enjoyable. I found her in the peer support forum for the month that I started. Neither of us planned to be buddies I think, it just worked out that way. It would be nice if there was a topic of "find a buddy" but they've got a program set up for mentoring that costs $$$$$$$. (I think it's in the thousands). If you are doing the peer support forum, and I recommend you do if you are new, you might have some luck there. Good luck. P.S. I finished the program 2 weeks ago and am loving the results. This program really works if you let it.

Jerri, I am looking for a Buddy as well, I think that would be great. If your interested, I would love to pair up with you. Just let me know. How far along in the program are you? I am starting Session #7 today.

I would love to do this. However right now I am so depressed and weak I don't think I would make a good buddy at all. Maybe when I am feeling better. It's a great idea though.

try to contact the center...either through customer service or the personal coaching....see if they cant give you good advice on how to get this done.

I think its great to have people that can give you encouragement but remember......all can be done by you and you alone! You dont need anyone else to help you get through this you hold the power inside yourself.

Think what you want to be and you will be it.
if you think you are sad and sick and depressed you darn will be that way....but if you think of yourself as strong and healthy and good you will be so.

Dont make the mistake of waiting till you feel better to feel better.......cant you see how silly that sounds when someone else says it?
You WILL feel better when you start FEELING better about yourself. Start today.

wake up and say I am a healthy woman/man. healthy in my mind and body. say it everyday. whenever you feel a sad thought or a goofy symptom....because youve felt bad long enough and some days really bad Im sure...and NOTHING has ever happened right?! Dont waste another day feeling this way.

If anyone wants a buddy I am on Step 2! and am good at responding to e-mails and PM'S! I am also finding this program extremely beneficial! :)

I would love to find a buddy too. I am getting ready to start session 4. If anyone is interested let me know. I think that is a great idea Tesha.
