Hi all - I've been on and off this board for a couple years now and I say HI! to all the newbies. I'm feeling good, have had my anxiety in check for the most part, but now am tackling a major change - a move. It's exciting, scary, CHANGE, etc. All those feeling we anxiety folks tend to shy from. I'm sitting right in the middle of them.
We've sold our house and we're in contract with another. I haven't slept well the past couple of nights. The one thing I've honed in on is money. I'm sure many of you can relate - when I feel out of control about something, I obsess. It's my way of trying to have a little control over something, ANYTHING! So now that we've sold our house I'm getting cold feet. I keep saying, maybe we should have stayed, maybe we made a mistake. Typical anxiety talk. I've made my poor DH go over our budget about a thousand times. We're not getting as much as we'd like for our house, so we're bringing some debt with us.
Still, we should be fine and continue to pay it off.
Anyone else dealt with a "biggie" anxiety trigger like moving? Would love any suggestions.
Happy Monday!
