Hi all - I've been on and off this board for a couple years now and I say HI! to all the newbies. I'm feeling good, have had my anxiety in check for the most part, but now am tackling a major change - a move. It's exciting, scary, CHANGE, etc. All those feeling we anxiety folks tend to shy from. I'm sitting right in the middle of them.

We've sold our house and we're in contract with another. I haven't slept well the past couple of nights. The one thing I've honed in on is money. I'm sure many of you can relate - when I feel out of control about something, I obsess. It's my way of trying to have a little control over something, ANYTHING! So now that we've sold our house I'm getting cold feet. I keep saying, maybe we should have stayed, maybe we made a mistake. Typical anxiety talk. I've made my poor DH go over our budget about a thousand times. We're not getting as much as we'd like for our house, so we're bringing some debt with us. :-( Still, we should be fine and continue to pay it off.

Anyone else dealt with a "biggie" anxiety trigger like moving? Would love any suggestions.

Happy Monday!

mm2bys we are moving and my anxiety has been there ...should i move ....maybe just stay here but my therapist said along time ago i have adjustment disorder on top of everything else when we go to the house to remodel i really love it ...it is in the country i really think we are just comfortable in the surroundings and dont want to disturb this but really sometimes a change is what we need ....you will be fine it might be the best move you make for yourself .......
