For the past 2-3 weeks I have been getting almost daily minor anxiety at work and occasional minor depression. Usually I know or can tell what the reason is for the anxiety/depression but this time I can't.

I am wondering if it's Adjustment Reaction Disorder. This is usally brought on by a negative stressor like the death of a loved one. I read that sometimes the stressor can be a positive situation like getting married. My biggest stressor had been my job and career dissatisfaction but in the past two months these two situations have been panning out. The past 8 weeks things have been going really well at the job--completely the opposite of the prior 5 months. I also came to grips with my career dissatisfaction.

All other areas of my life are also good.

:?

Thanks!

Charlie Brown - I'd like you to do a favor for yourself - stop analyzing it. We experience all kinds of feelings, ups and downs all day, week, months. Don't analyze it. It doesn't matter why you experience this. Just let it be and go on with your day.

My best to you.

Thanks so much, Boon!

It's so ironic: on the same day you suggested to stop analyzing, I was reading You Can Be Happy No Matter What by Richard Carlson and in the chapter I was on, he wrote against overanalyzing!
