I am on session 10 and am finding that i am feeling a little better everyday. i discovered a pretty good technique that works for me when i am having an obsessive, scary thought. on one side of a piece of paper, i write one word over and over that sums up the scary thought i am having. i fill up the entire side of the paper with this word. then i flip the paper over, and on the other side i write 2 or 3 different empowering words over and over, until the whole other side is full. when it is, i fold it up, and throw it away. it really helps me to kind of get out of the obsessive moment and focus on the positive. i'm sure this isn't an original idea, but i just was so happy with the outcome that i had to share it. i hope it helps others out there too! :)

THat's great! I have done this with worries
and negative thoughts & it works too.

I think it works because we become more aware of
our thoughts and learn how to control the negative scary thoughts.
