The lady who is reading her list of what she learned and is still applying from the program mentioned that she avoids or trys to stay away from conversations, shows, etc. that make her uncomfortable.
I was thinking about this and wonder whether that's a good thing or not. I first think it's still an avoidance and maybe something we should try to do in order not to fear it as much. What do you think? I get very uncomfortable hearing about any type of situation dealing with mental illness, but if I avoid it, which is impossible really, is this helping or hindering me? Just curious what others may think.
