by lost but lookin
It started by having to be stuck at home my car was broke and at the reair shop. My 2 youngest had dentist appts. @ 2:00 and they were scared to death which made me anxious. I had to get a ride to the dentist and watch my youngest (he was anxious) teary eyed and scared get his first filings the other kid only had a check up. I was able to calm myself and him sucessfully!!! I was home less than 30 mins when my husband called and said "I need you to sit down, listen to me and not panic" (of course my mind started racing). He said "my mom is on her way to get you Leanne(my 15 year old) has to go to the hospital she has busted her head open in softball". I thought I was going to lose it. The ball had been launched 150 ft in the air with the pitching machine and came down hit her sunglasses which broke and stuck in her for head. She was so brave and never cried. When we finally made it to the back to see the doctor she lost it and became panicy. I was able to calm her down and stay calm myself I taught her how to breathe. Everyone is fine now just exhausted to much for me today. She ended up with 21 stitches. I don't think I would have made it through today without the skills I have learned from this program. Thank you StressCenter.com. I now know I DO HAVE STRENGTH.

My brightest memory that I am proud of is when my husband said he was taking off of work because he was sure I was going to need him(in the past he has always had to be the strong one) I told him no I need to do this on my own. It scared the crap out of my when I said it but I didn't back down.
