Today I was going to start writing down my negative thoughts so I in the second step can turn them to positive more productive ones. So far so good.
I have negative real,not-scary thoughts such as "I feel fat today" But I also have scary thoughts that does not make any sense, irrational, troublesome thoughts, kneads that not lead anywhere such as "Is there an and of universe?", "Are there some supernatural power visiting and controlling my thoughts?", "What´s the meaning of life?" etc I often over-analyze them and ask myself if they can be true.
However, the more I focused on this practise, the more scary thoughts overwhelmed me, and I also created some new ones. My question to this practise, is it good to focus on thinking and finding negative thoughts? It got me more scared than before. Actually I had difficulties to do something meaningful at all today. Instead everything turned into a real mess. Probably that was the real problem, that I permitted myself not to do something productive at all. It must be so.
However, what are you others feel going through this practise? Is it easy for you, just to write down negative thoughts, without producing new ones? Please give me some tips to go through this better.
Difference between negative thoughts and scary thoughts?

Don't go looking for negative thoughts. Be aware of the negative and scary thinking as it occurs. Write down the ones you can so it's helpful to carry a small tablet with you where you go or a small notebook. After writing down the negative or scary thought immediately write down a soothing reply. A comforting reply. One that calms you. (Negative thoughts and scary thoughts are the same. They are a bunch of garbage.)
This practice is to make you aware of what a negative thinker you are. Your ultimate goal is to dismiss these thoughts without becoming emotionally attached to them. This takes practice. I think it's safe to say you are a negative thinker. We all are at first. Then, with practice, you learn how to talk kind to yourself and loving. You don't always have to write down your negative thoughts but it is good when you can "catch" yourself thinking negative and replace, replace, replace with soothing self talk. You are creating a new habit and you must be very patient with yourself. Never judge or criticize who you are and where you are at.
Because you don't have the tapes you are not getting examples of soothing self talk. Try to come up with some phrases that you like. It's not about lying to yourself. It's about truthful comforting.
I am a good person.
I am doing the best I can.
Yes, I may feel uncomfortable right now but this will pass.
Start walking daily. Eat well balanced meals. Journal your feelings.
There are many tools out there to guide you. How you talk to yourself is essential in your healing.

Thanks a lot for your words. It´s funny, I already have the tools, I have a lot of skills I have collected through the years. And a lot of knowledges. To find some soothing selftalk will be no problem. I have Lucindas book and other books too, so I have a lot of examples. I just have to start doing it properly. I know it will be hard work. Tomorrow I try again, in a more healthier way. I will eat well and take a walk. I hope I can take summers last bath too
Shall be more active then! A friend is coming so I think we will go shopping. No time for thinking then. Goodnight. You made me in better mood!
