Well, I had to go to the doctor today. Last year I had a problem with mrsa and it's come back again. It's actually in my armpit

The doctor had to remove them and pack it. Well, they used a different numbing agent on me this time. I normally don't have any problem with needles or anything, so after the doctor started injecting the numbing agent I was surprised when my heart starting pounding and I had a big adrenaline rush. I mentioned this to the doctor and she said it was from the epinephrine in the numbing agent. Boy, she gave that shot to the WRONG person! Giving someone with panic attacks a shot with epinephrine? What's up with that?? Especially without a warning on the reaction it could cause!

Anyway, now I have to take two antibiotics twice a day. I just took them for the first time and I'm feeling dizzy and anxious. Of course, this has nothing to do with the medicine itself, just my normal "Oh my gosh, I just took medicine!!!!!"

So, will someone talk some sense to me and remind me that antibiotics really don't make anxiety worse. That the worst thing that will happen is some nausea. Right??

You just did talk sense, and since it came from you, it is already in you!!!

I have never known anyone who got sick on antibiotics, but take with food if you are concerned. Make a call to the pharmacy as well, they are usually very helpful.
