Hello all. I have a question, and i hope it gets anwsered before bed tonight. ok here goes:

I am presently taking .5 xanax xr twice a day,at 10 am and 10 pm. (1mg. a day) and i take 1/2 a klonapin (.25) before i go to bed to help me sleep. well when i started the xanax about 3 months ago i was taking it at 7 and 7, but i got transfered to 2nd shift so i started taking it at 10 and 10, and started taking only half a klonapin. (before that i was taking a whole klonapin before bed time). sense I started taking the 1/2 klonapin i've not been getting as a good night sleep. my question is if i took the .5 xanax xr at 10 pm, would it be too much for my system or make me too drugged or even kill me if i were to take a whole klonapin (that would be a .5mg before bed time, which would be about 12 am, about 2 hours after taking the xanax xr. sorry took so long, don't forget to set clocks back 1 hour tonight.

i use to take klonapins for sleep to. i could not ever take them and not fall asleep. but i knew people who took them during the day. i guess it is just your make up of your body. i would never take anything if it would impair your work. this probably should be addressed by your dr. not any of us. wish i could help. be safe when taking these meds. changing your dose with out a dr consent could be dangerous
