Does anyone else have anxiety related to the weather. When a major storm is heading your way, do you do a lot of "what if" type thinking around it. I always seem to have issues when storms are heading my way. In particular, tornadoes. I don't know if I watch to many of those shows about them, but I get really anxious whenever there is a potential for tornadoes to hit my area. I am interested if anyone else feels this way, and if so, have you found a way to help allieviate those fears? Thanks.

Hi Ken, when I first had my breakdown I was terrified of lightening and thurnder and rain. I still don't like it. My goal is to walk out on a rainy day and stare at the sky. My goal is to one day not be afraid of lightening and thunder and embrace it.

Thanks Terry. I really like the suggestion about going outside and facing my fears head on. With the exception of doing this when there is actual danger present like a tornado warning, etc.. I think I will try this. Thanks again for the reply.
