I have been obsessing constantly about my health. I just have a constant worry. Its the pit in my stomach that I get not the thoughts of "what is wrong with me".

Its almost as if its subconscienc worrying. I don't even think about what might be wrong I just feel worried contstanly.

Can anyone relate - I sure hope so. I am so frustrated with this.

Its almost as if I am obsessing about worrying.....

I can certainly relate--my psychologist said I have made my health my idol and I have to agree with that. I won't repeat my previous posts, but if you'll check them out, you will see that I am a kindred spirit.

I can relate and all I can tell you is that if every Doctor you've seen can't find anything wrong then you're not supposed to worry. Did you notice that I didn't say, "oh don't worry about" ? It's because I struggle with it a lot. I'm working on saying to myself, "You know that every dr you've seen for 2 years can't find anything wrong and every symptom you've had has no rhyme or reason plus it's a symptom of anxiety and lots of people have this"

And yes, i also have the worrying thoughts of I worry toooo much!!! What's going to happen because I worry....

If you haven't seen a doctor, then get a physical, and tell him/her about ALL of your symptoms and let them decide. Is also never hurts to get a second opinion.

Hope that's helpful

Glad I am not alone (I seem to say that alot).

I just get so tired of the unexplained worry feeling, being so sensitive to what my heart is doing and the "anxious pit" in my body.....

just simply tired of it!

I do understand Ellkay, and can say I'm the same way only better now, not near as sensitive. I struggle with all the negative thinking but would say yes even if you don't say "what if" but are constantly worried I would think that's questioning.... make sense? Have you seen a doctor?

I think it still is what if thinking. You are still wondering "if" something is wrong, at least that is what I think the feeling in the pit of your stomach means anyway.

My doctor told me after going to her for stomach issues (Heartburn/chest pain, etc.) and having an EKG (was normal had it just to be sure) that I should go and live life to the fullest.....when something is really wrong you will know it, because it won't let up it will get worse and you'll go get it taken care of. So I pay this mantra over and over in my head when I am feeling that anxious feeling over some ache or pain.
All of here have worried about our health, I know I wouldn't be anxious if I didn't start this health worry. But I also know that I have taken the steps (Yearly physicals, proper diet, exercise,THIS PROGRAM!) to give myself the best chance at a healthy life.

You can do the same........

Yes (Tweety4_9) I have seen a doctor. I have several ekg's, echo cardiogram, wore a halter monitor for 24 hours but lots of blood work, and I believe I also had an Xray. All test were normal - I was symptomatic when I had one of the ekg's so they were able to see what I am talking about.

I just can't seem to help from worrying. I am having gynelogical problems so it could be a hormonal thing but my anxiousness seems to last for weeks at a time.

I am very intuned to my heart beat - I wish I could block it out............

I am thinking about starting the program over again but this time do it with my husband so he can help me stay on track.

the only biggest fear i have is flying on the plane and driving on the freeway, i hope after i test it, hopefully i can apply the steps that was taught on the tape. even before the program ends.
