Here's what I experience:
A vague "ughhh" feeling or "oh, no, I'm not right" anxious feeling comes over me and seems to be what remains as my biggest hurdle emotionally. The feeling will stick around and as a result, other thoughts shoot at me to replace. It's usually caused by a stressor, my being tired, frustrated or a bad memory that gets in my mind.
Those of you who deal with more physical feelings, like dizziness that will keep you stuck in your head and feeling like you'll never be normal, would I react the same as you?
Do I treat that dull feeling like I would a physical feeling by just rolling with it? I'm confused on whether to try to replace the feeling itself over and over again or to ignore it and go about my day as best I can.
These are what I've written down to say to myself:
"It's just a feeling that's an old habit"
"The less attention I give it, the less it will bother me"
Any more suggestions?
Do I indeed treat the feeling like I would a dizzy feeling or something?
