Hi. Have not been on line for awhile. I was wondering if it was ever posted after Lucinda's husband passed away, that administration ever mentioned what happened or how the Bassett family is doing. My heart goes out to this family. Anyone know about this?

I'm so sorry to hear about Lucinda. I pray God comforts her the way He uses her to comfort others.

I also have been thinking about Lucinda alot and wonder how she's doing. I guess we all sort of look to her in some way as our guide, and I can't help but wonder how she's handling her husband's passing...I know in my mind that it's none of my business, but you know how it goes with obsessive thinking. It would be nice if the center could come out with some sort of statement about her and the situation. I wish I could just let go of it, but it keeps coming up in my thoughts.

I've been thinking about Lucinda as well, but instead of obsessing over it (as we can do), I had a good friend tell me once to pray for those I am thinking about.
For those who believe in the power of prayer, perhaps that is what is being asked of us when we think about her. Offering up a prayer for her and her family is the greatest gift we can give her.
Hopefully we'll get word soon on how she's doing.
If other friends/family members come to mind, it might be a sign of a time when they need your prayers as well.

Thanks for your responses. I don't think I am obsessing over it. Just common courtesy on my behalf to ask about someone who in turn had helped me. Anyway, I am sure that administration knowes alot of people are wondering. I respect what ever they decided to do. My prayers go out to all involved. God Bless
