My first week at my new job!!! I just want to thank everyone for your support and prayers. I was actually going to decline the offer because I felt I was not stable enough to hold down a job. But, I made it through week one with minimal anxiety and no panic attacks!!! I even drove on the highway to and from work. I can't believe it. Just a week ago I wasn't driving at all and was confined to my home or the emergency room. I sincerely thank all of you, I could not have done this without your support. You all encouraged me to take the job. You believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and for that I am forever grateful.

That is awesome. I was there 10 months ago and I'm still working. That first week was hard. Just take it one day at a time. You can be very proud of yourself!

Jamika, that's great! Congrats! I can relate because I just finished my first full week at my job since my anxiety really got a hold of me and the panic attacks started a month ago. Since then, I had either been in the ER, calling in sick, or putting in a day at work here and there. BUT, I started the program this past week and made it through. I am blessed to work for a manager that has been patient with me and understands what I am going through.
