I don't know if you guys are like this, but I always know when a cold or flu is coming on because I get anxious a day or 2 before for no reason, then theres the depression.

Are you like this?

I guess we are such sensitive souls aren't we? I get the same way before I come down with something.

Sorry you're not feeling well. I almost ALWAYS get depressed when I am sick. You are not alone, that's for sure!

Get better! :)

Blessings,
Dawn

I agree I know when the cold is coming, the day of reckoning is miserable, just the little signs that an illness is upon us.

I am OK if it is a cold with my anxiety, but when I get the tummy twitches.....look out! I can wear a hole in the rug from pacing.

The worst part about a bad cold is feeling like it will never end! I usually go through this the first couple of days.

I'm right where you guys are. Today is day 3 of the cold. I was doing great until it hit. The anxiety/panic was to overwhelming and the upset stomache from the anxiety that I had to take a Xanax to calm down and stop crying. I could not get comfortable with discomfort of a flu/cold type so the tools I have learned here did not work for me. Today I am much better. What triggers me is that I know how helpless I am not only to myself while Im sick to my stomache and weak but also to my children with no energy. If they were older I don't think colds/flus would bother me that much. I now just pray my way through it and what has been the best tool for me.

Blessings

I was just relating, but no cold here! [finding wood to knock on]

My son has been battling a cold and due to my Endo next wk I had to stop taking my vitamin C, what timing is that!

OK - so now it seems I am getting that cold. Feel it in my head, back of my throat, etc.

This is because I have an ENDO next week! Additionally I had to stop taking Vitamin C (according to the Endo) place, so, I may have talked myself into it!

Hot Digity!

You hit it right on the button with the back of the throat. Every one except my oldest daughter is sick here. Humidifiers are all going on, lysol spray, rocola drops, and airborne....tylenol. I was told by some neighbors that a virus is going around...and the good news is........this will pass.

Different than my other sensation!

Hopefully I will not get the razor blade feeling that so many of my friends have had with this one so far this yr!

What a horrible season for illnesses.
