Hi I have been living with anxiety for 10+ years and have a hard time making new friends cause I have social anxiety and do not go out much. So I am wondering if there is anyone here if there is anyone here from Boston MA?

I know what you mean about not having many friends. I do anything i can to stay away from most of my friends because i dont want them to know how anxious i really am. Its an awful feeling. My name is jim and i am from billerica, ma, and i have had anxiety, ocd thougthts and panic attacks for 14 months now. I couldnt go out with friends for about 6 months. So i know all that ur goin through right now and i want you to know you are definately not alone. It will pass though. You just have to push yourself,go out and do the things your afraid of doing and eventually it will get easier. Hi Beckiel. I have had a problem with anxiety for about 20 years, and was in denial until 1-1/2 years ago. I live in Middleton, MA but I work in Boston 2 days a week. I have a problem with social anxiety also, but since I started treatment a year or so ago it's gotten much better. I still don't go out much, but I'm not as afraid anymore. You will get better!
