I really don't like riding the bus because it seems that my parents abandoned or don't care about me and also being the only one riding the bus makes me feel that I'm alone and don't belong in my own family. And though they say that riding the bus make me independent, I still feel dependent. :(

Changingtimes!
Hello there!
If these gasoline prices continue you are going to have a lot of company on those busses!!

I have pen-friends in Australia. I hear from them every week. They ride they busses everywhere, as a choice. They enjoy it!!

Being independant brings on very good feelings!!
Your parents likely haven't abandoned you. They are just being practical. And they may be trying to teach you. You need to know how to get around on the bus.
How old are you??
I hope that you begin to enjoy those bus rides.
You will meet interesting people. Look around you. Try to smile at folks.
I don't know your circumstance of course.
I do wish you well!!
Happy traveling around!!!

MrCleveland,

I ride the bus. It totally sucks. I mean, come on, 45 min to get to school when if I were driving I could get there in 15 min? L A M E !

Yet when you really think about it, your parents haven't abandoned you. Whether you have a good relationship with them (which means they'll always be there for you) or not, this has nothing to do with them. You see, this is your life. Your independence. You can ride the bus just about anywhere and do what you want or need to do. Perhaps you're just in a transitional phase where you're metaphorically moving away from your parents to being an independent person. Celebrate this. It's liberating. You're actually in a really great place right now. Maybe it's just bringing up some anxiety right now, but that's okay. Anxiety can be overcome. Just be patient.

So as MJ said...HAPPY TRAVELING!
