Can years of worry about your health and stress of being anxious be damaging to our health. Can someone spend 10 years worried about having a heart attack end up ok (health and mind)?

Stress and worry definitely aren't good for us, but in my opinion there is no long term damage done if you make steps to turn it around. Even with smoking -- everyone knows how horrible that is for your health -- but I have seen data showing that even if you smoked for a long time, then you quit smoking, after so many years your risk has decreased so it was like you never smoked. That's the health and body part. The mind part is another story, because we know constant worrying can cause anxiety. But the good news there too is that even people who suffer for a long time with anxiety, can still find recovery here.
