Just wondering if anyone had experienced dizzy Spells?? For some reason I seem to get random body simptoms and need to be reassured that I am OK... I have been to the Dr's and all tests seem to come back good. This is just to weird and wished that I would quite making myself feel this way by worring anout it so much, Obsessive thinking...

It's definitely a vicous cycle that's for sure. Your dizzy, so you worry about why you are dizzy, but the worrying keeps you dizzy! I can totally relate to your issues. I had the same constant dizziness for about 10 months. I started the program about a month ago and the dizziness feeling went away. I was left with an off-balance problem that I am now working on, but for the most part, the dizziness is gone. If you were cleared through your doctors, it could certainly be related to your anxiety issues. I am not sure where you are in the program, but my advice would be to stick with it and listen to the relaxation cd often. That really seemed to help me.
Take care and good luck! Ken

Hey,
Even if you had blood work done and your sodium was fine it may very from time.Next time you get the feeling try taking in some salt.See if that helps. It's also common during menstrual cycle time that Hgb levels and sodium shift,so a little salt should help. Also, rule out inner ear problems.
Sincerely,Sit

My initial problems (well, the current problems) began with dizzy spells. I worried that something was terribly wrong with me -- now that I'm listening to the cd's with the program, I see/hear that most of us who have panic problems begin to wonder if it's a brain tumor, heart attack, stroke, etc. I feared all that. I went to the dr. and had everything checked out, including carotid arteries (which are fine, thank God). I have been treating with a chiropractor as well because my neck gets out of whack pretty easily from a lot of stress and falling asleep sitting up on the couch (extremely bad habit for neck problems) and he feels I am 99% cleared up on the neck problem. So the whole thing escalated into panic attacks for me. Now that I'm in the program, I see that I have had various panic issues over the years without having a name for them. This current problem was causing me to fear leaving home because I was afraid I would fall down with a dizzy spell while crossing wide=open spaces - like parking lots and shopping in stores, etc. I am beginning to get better with the program relaxation cd and all my journaling and listening to the program sessions and doing the homework in our workbooks, and with the help of God. Today I was able to go to a holiday open house/seminar type thing at my church and walked in the gym to a table in the middle for snack food. Then tonight I was able to walk from my car in the parking lot into a store and back out to the car without feeling I needed a shopping cart to steady myself. Thank God, it's all working! So keep up the good work with your relaxation cd and keep journalilng and doing your workbooks and "run to the roar"!!
