How is everyone doing on the relaxation exercise? I am in Session 4 and still have trouble with a scary thought interrupting my enjoyment of this exercise and can't seem to get over this. Does anyone experience this? I would like to know if there is some way to overcome this, as it takes away from the relaxed feeling because I get uneasy about this thought and it makes me apprehensive to do the exercise, even though I know it is an important part of the program. It has been ruining things for me and I don't feel I am progressing in the program as I should. I hope someone has help for me on this one. Thanks.

When i do the relaxation cd i am in a dim lit room with no noise and i only follow Lucinda's voice and instruction. I also put a cold wash cloth on my forehead and over my eyes sprinkled with some lavendar bath salts since it is a naturally claming scent. It really helps me to relax and get in the zone. I know its hard but you really just have to focus on her voice and when another thought comes into your mind you need to say...It's my time for relaxation now...goodbye. Hope these tips can help you out!
