Yarn:
One way to determine definitely is to get a glucose meter and some test strips and test your blood sugar. Normal Blood sugar count is
70 to 110.
This way you won't be guessing.
I don't think anyone could determine just by
comaring symtoms.
Hope this helps.

Previous advice is great but I would add that if you have scary thoughts with your physical symptoms it is most likely a panic attack.

I've had what I affectionately call "hypoglycemic meltdown." I personally believe that severe physical stress can bring on a panic attack just like severe emotional stress and accumulated negative thinking can. For me, it operates both ways. Severe physical stress of intense exercise, prolonged illness, or something else...
For example... Recently I took a 3-day intense kickboxing instructor certification workshop. I did not know we had to bring lunch and that there would be no break for eating. I had not packed a meal, only small snacks, water, sports drink. Around hour 6 of day 1 I had a full-blown panic attack after the lightheadedness and hunger pangs started. I never completed the workshop. Also I used to run and road bike competitively. Out on a long hard road race (again, with not enough food/ fluids) I had a full blown panic attack and had to withdraw from the event.
Though I'm not diagnosed as hypo or hyperglycemic, I am sensitive to carbs and the type of carbs I eat. Sugar and white bread, soda, desserts, rev me up in a bad jittery way then I crash. It is very uncomfortable and I am totally irritable on both ends. Also, if I have a meal with ONLY carbs (all pasta for example) I feel physically exhausted but mentally anxious and revved up at the same time; it is awful! I just take care with what and when I eat.

I think they are all inter-related but they say it is impossible to feel badly or stressed when your thoughts are in order and that is my experience,.
