For the past couple of weeks I have been getting weird sensations on the left side of my head that come and go. It's just above the ear and it feels like a pulsing sensation or something to that effect. I sometimes rub it, thinking it'll go away, but it doesn't. I'm not sure if it's the anxiety and stress that is causing it or that I only have it when I think about it. If that makes any sense? I have an issue with my jaw sometimes where it get's out of it's socket and pops back in from time to time and that really sends the sensation going up the side of my head. Of course I had to do some research to see if I had a brain tumor or the onset of a stroke or something and that just fuels the fire. I'm tired of going to the Dr. for everything that's wrong with me and to find out it's nothing more than stress and anxiety. I'm sure the Dr. is tired of it too. This is getting very old. It's seems to be one thing after another. :(

Kodiak...I get the very same thing! It's stress and anxiety. Always happens when I don't get enough sleep and I'm tired or exhausted. I did the same as you and looked it up and it only made it worse. I try and not look stuff up online anymore. It only adds to the stress. I completely understand what you're going through. It's a vicious cycle that we need to break. Hang in there. You're not alone in this.

Thanks Joe P. I pretty much knew where this stuff was coming from, but wanted to hear that others have had this issue and that it's nothing but my stress and anxiety. Certain things do seem to set it off. Thanks again.

I find that when I'm stressed, I clench my jaw. I caught myself doing that and I relaxed my jaw and about 5 minutes later, the headache went away. I do it without even realizing I am. I guess it's something I've done my whole life.
