I've been through the program but I still have these bouts of black depression. I've just got over the flu and have money worries but i've always had money worries so don't know if its that more the flu probably but I just feeling like bursting into tears, I thought a run would help but no, Its lasted the last 2 days and I've work tomorrow and don't know how I'll get through it. Does the flu trigger depression? I mean I've got over the aches and pains and the runny nose and caughing, Now I just feeling like cring, I have no energy, no interest in food
etc etc

Any advice please

Hi Rock, your name suggests you have no money problems,,sorry couldnt help that one. Really though the flu sure took your energy away to ward of the big black dog and has you weakend. I would watch something uplifting on the tube or try reading in your Bible, that always uplifts me out of the darkness. Give it a try, Bruce

Hmmm if only I had money, Rockefeller comes from where I work, I.E Rockefeller Center :) I think people with Anxiety and Depression just notice the flu more as it seems to make you more anxious and depressed and you think your actually taking a step back when in actually fact its just the flu doing it

The flu actually can make you feel worse. I had it this time last year when all my major issues came to a head, and it certainly didn't help. The flu is a HARD disease, and it doesn't help when you already feel bad from emotional stress. The good news is is that the flu goes away, and you can and will get better. It's hard to imagine feeling completely better ever again (I go through that daily), but there is hope. :)
