For the most part, I've been having pretty good days but today, I'm feeling a little icky. Used my tools and fought off an attack this morning but am having a hard time shaking the perpetual uneasiness I've felt since I woke up this morning. A wise woman told me last night that you can't expect yourself to have great days every single day. I know I will get through it, but you all know how crappy off days are.
Was just hoping to hear some words of encouragement. I know I will be okay, but it always helps to hear it from someone else.
Thanks to you all. You are such a wonderful suport network!

Hey,
I know how you feel. I have days where I just keep getting those waves of uneasiness and fear all day long after an anxiety attack. But just look at these feelings as moments in time that will always pass. I find when you isolate these episodes to a moment then it doesnt seem like something that is forever or the beginning of a long lasting bout with anxiety or panic. Just because you felt like this today that doesnt mean you will feel like this tomorrow. Anticipatory Anxiety prevents us from living in the present which is so important to recovery. I know its easier said than done. I try to do something that distracts me from myself like working on a craft that I enjoy. Hope this helps.

Hello,
I found that once I was feeling so great that a bad day or so seemed much more intensified than before and seemed as though I felt more depressed and would worry it wouldn't stop but it always did and now I have many ways of dealing with a less that great day. I have started knitting afghans again ( been laid up so it helps to pass the time ) and it takes your mind off everything as you need to concentrate on the pattern. Anything that occupies your mind in a good way will help so much on those days of icky feelings and anxiety/depression. Robin is so right about having a hobby. Works better than meds.
You are never alone with these feelings and we all go through them but it does get easier and they will be far less often as you go through the weeks. I have 1 week to complete now so have faith and never stop believing.
Best wishes for a better tomorrow.

You would be in December's group. When you first bring up the program click on the month of December. Or you can post on the general forum and your December group is also listed there. It's the last one. You can actually post wherever you want but it's really helpful to post along with your group because everyone will be working on similar sessions at about the same time. Read over some of the posts and see what people are discussing. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Good luck to you. The program can change your life.
