I'd like to Congratulate - ME

I'm not sure if you all remember but I took my current contract position back in June of this year. The first job I've ever held in the field I want to work in (only did freelance before). My FIRST job since getting laid off and going thru a string of jobs and job offers and succombing to my anxiety and fears!! This job has been absolutely amazing. I've learned a ton. I've been positive, pleasant, hard working, and answering my PHONE at work. My work is on shut down during the holidays and last Friday my boss called me into her office. I've expressed interest in being hired and recently submitted a resume. The company is EXCELLENT AND HAS amazing benefits aside from being a GREAT work place. She told me that she will be opening a job req after the new year and that it has to be open for 5 business days, she said after that she plans to extend me a job offer. She said she REALLY wanted to get this done before Christmas but that it will happen after the new year!! She said she thought it would make my Christmas a little better knowing that when I come back I will be hired!! Can you believe it!! ME!! I'm still beside myself. I'm SOOO PROUD of myself. I can't wait till this is 100% official so I can share the news with EVERYONE

Thanks so much for the support and understanding that everyone has provided here! I really appreciate it and it helped me a lot.

Isn't it the best feeling in the world when you have accomplished something you never thought possible, because of the fear controlling you? Now, you can do anything you want, because you have learned the tools to overcome your fears and begin to LIVE again!
