;) You might try asking her if she'd like you to start the program with her, to give her a jump start. You two can listen to the cd's together or work out of the workbook together. That way she know's you're really intrested in helping her get started. Just a suggestion :)

Definitely try to go thru it with her. The skills are good for everyone. Being so young its hard to be disciplined. Seeing you go thru it with her would be a great lesson in itself. Her answers and stuff should be private unless she wants to share but really - you could learn from the program too.

Just listening to the tapes can bring on anxiety. Have you let her come here to talk with any of us? To see that there are many others who have what she has and that we are here for her? This was a lot for me to take in at 32, I can only imagine what a 12 year old has to think about it. I would definitley ask Carolyn and the directors if they could give you any advice on how to break it down to a 12 year old. I remember Lucinda saying that she was writing something up for kids, and that may have been for her own sake, but they are at such a different level than adults are.. Call them up and see what they have to say? Try a program specialist first- it's free. And this place is free. Good Luck and God Bless!
