i have a dull headache which i've gotten many times before but it seems to be making me very anxious today. Anyone get this? i keep thinking it's making me unsteady and i can't seem to handle anything....

:) Yes, yes and yes! I get it quite often when I'm worried about things, and /or stressed out. Stress can do a great deal of physical harm over time. I have tense shoulders, and neck muscles which in turn gives me a migraine when I'm really stressed. Sometimes this brings on more anxiety, leading one to believe there is other things wrong. If your doctor had given you a clean bill of health, then you know it's stress and anxiety. Keep doing the relaxation, and something I have tried a couple of months ago is Tai-Chi, (hope I spelled it correctly) and I've only tried it once, and I can't explain how wonderful I felt after I did this. It's soooooooooooo relaxing, and all of my muscles felt so calm. I am looking for a really good Tai-Chi instructor so I can go on a regular basis.There are also CD/Video Tai-Chi as well, so whichever you prefer. Try it! Well, take care for now. Thanks for your reponse. Yeah i've been getting headaches more often. And it's not that they are so bad but when i start worring they could be something else...my mind starts going and that brings on the panic. Today things are going better which is good but i think your right i need to make sure i'm getting some relaxation time in. Yeah Tai-Chi is a good one i did that years ago when my mom was in a class and would teach me some moves and i really liked it. I forgot all about that.I really need to do something i've haven't done my tapes in a long time either...i guess that's why these headaches are getting me more anxious. thanks for you comments, it really helps alot! :)

:)Hi Carol. Anytime you want to chat, just let me know. I started the program awhile ago a couple of times actually :eek: and one of my major setbacks is procrastination. It's getting better though. I'm starting the program again. I have lots on the go now, but organization will help in this area. I also know what you mean, by getting anxious when you have an ailment, then your mind goes into over-drive, thinking it's something else. It's scarey, but this program will help with that for sure. Anyhow, good luck and start up with your tapes again, and I'm sure you'll feel better. Take care !

Thanks!! same here, contact me anytime. yeah i know i'm am such a procrastinator to. i've started a few times and never got far at all. i want to start up again but even if i just do the relaxation tapes for now that would be helpful sometimes it's just so hard to get motivated, but when i get too anxious like i'm getting now that should get me back in the groove. I know i've been doing a lot of negative thinking and that just makes things worse. :( thanks for your encouragement!!! :)
