I know the program talks about eliminating caffeine, but I have noticed that when I consume caffeine, my mood is improved. I don't drink caffeine much, but when I do, ironically I find my anxiety seem to go down. It gives me that extra edge to get through the day. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, but if I have too much I get jittery and irritable. When I have too much, I notice that it will enhance any anxiety that might arise and I lose control.

I agree but have you noticed that if you drink much caffeine and then stop you kind of crash. I think that especially for me, I am always looking for something to enhance my mood (caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, etc..) and I think where this program is taking us is to find the tools to enhance our mood through our positive thougths and exercise, ect...

I read an article a while ago that talked about caffeine (especially coffee) having anti depressant properties and can be a mood elevator in some people. The problem is though that if you also have a lot of anxiety and panic attacks, it can make these worse. I also notice a mood lift if I have any caffeine, but if I go over a certain amt. (which I don't anymore) it will cause anxiety.
