Wow you said it so nicely...I have learned that life is about ups and downs. when you are up you have to come down thats when the car breakes or the water heater goes out or something. When you are down and feeling like you at the bottom you are and with preservation the only way is to come up but know that you probably will get hit with something. God is testing us to make us stronger people. Sometimes I wonder what the test is but I do work through it all and sometimes I get sick over it and other times I can laugh. Do count your blessings life could be more ups and downs. Its what makes the world go round.

Just so you know I walked away froma marriage with over $60,000 in debt and I wanted to feel guil;t free for wanting a divorce so I took it all. I am almost doen with it all and it has beena hard road. I worked a full time plus job on salary and then opened a business and was sick over every beginning we faced. So I cashed out my retirement so I could do the business right and get rid of the sick feeling I had every time I wasn't sure if I could make payroll. Now we are doing real well 4 yrs into it and it is paying off. In exchange for cashing out my retirement which wasn't alot but enough I have been paying off my bills. I went without living on the least amount possible with no extra's. I work six days a week and don't really get a break the seventh day but spend it relaxing so I can start over again. For now it works who knows what tomorrow will bring. You all can do it.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words of support. You know, it feels like financial problems are some of the most shameful until you find out so many others are in the same boat. Cuttingirl, I loved that quote by Winston Churchill--I so resemble that remark!
Anyway, I'm working on solutions, hopefully avoiding garnishment or bankruptcy, and trying not to be freaked out--prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated!
