Hey Listen to what you are saying...you've been exercising hardcore for the past 2 months and eating super super super healthy and trying and trying and trying...So what if you gained a bit more weight (i can't tell if it is exercise or what not)...You are trying and you should be proud of yourself for that. You're taking the steps to making yourself feel better
As for the new job...its really normal to feel nervous about any change in life...you gatta learn a new routine...a new set up habits and maybe you won't get it down pat the first attempt you make or even the 10th but thats ok too...Do infants get walking the first attempt they make?
Let me ask you a question...what gives you the right to say bad stuff about yourself? What horrible things have you done that you need to be punished for? Did you commit any crime or intentionally try to hurt another person?
Mike

DMP720:
Listen to yourself: "I have a hard time with enclosed spaces and no way to get out". You do have a way to get out, the same way you got in: the door. I am not criticizing as when I am anxious or panicky enclosed spaces get to me. But when I walk in one I often say things like the following:
1. what do I really think is going to happen?
2. are the walls moving and getting closer? HA! No.
3. Is it getting hard to breathe? After a few calming easy breaths, I prove air is there.
4. Is the door suddenly locked? Well, no, I just came through it.
5. Then I kind of take a look around the room and just take it all in....it is just a room. Why would a window or a wide open wall to the outside make it any less safe or different than it is now?
When I take that approach, I'm usually able to do what I need to do in the enclosed room. Sometimes I don't have to do this and sometimes I do, but I think the theory is the more I can face it and talk my way through it, that over time the less I will need to do so. Practice this in your bathroom at home and over time, the bathroom at work will just be another room.

Irish89:You're right it is just a room...most of the time I can tell myself that...I think its more of the fear of what people will think of me if I freak out..ya know? Its that perfectionist thing that I hate people to see me screw up...blah

Wow I'm flattered by your response. I'm glad that I can help to make you feel better and everyone else too! I'm also suprised that you've read some of my previous replys...I'm blushing over here.
