Okay...I'm really proud of myself. My kindergarten class had a field trip to a children's hospital today. I was so anxious about going because I hate hospitals and knew I would get extremely nervous. I did get really anxious (very fast pulse) but I stayed and did great. And to think I had thought about not going.

I think it is really good that you went and then stayed as well.

Think of the message that may have been passed down to these young children had you avoided the trip or disappeared while on the tour.

I am finding children are very influential at this age. My son is in kindergarten and my wife a kindergarten teacher. I have a lot more to learn about kids than I had thought.

Way to go! My son is in Kindergarten and they haven't gone on any field trips yet this school year. (They do a lot of other neat stuff though, we're really pleased.)
What an important thing for your students to learn - how fortunate they are, and how they can help others, too.

Thanks for what you do - I am so grateful that my son loves his first experience with school - what an important and influential year in a child's life!
