Well, my one coworker is a gentleman about 10 years my senior who constantly checked me out and flirted with me. Last week, he started finding ways to conveinently touch my wrist and etc. Well, I reached my breaking point when he came up behind me and rubbed my shoulders. Now, I am the type to completely freeze in that situation, and I did this time too, but instead of just letting it slide I went to Human Resources. They asked if they should say something or if I wanted to, and I took a big gulp and said I should do it. Once I did that, I got the WORST anxiety (heart thumping, clammy hands, etc....just worrying about the upcoming confrontation. I asked him to come to my office and told him how I was feeling, and it really wasnt as bad as I had worried it would be! Im so proud of myself for doing that, and hopefully can graduate to saying something right when the incident happens.

WOW perfect!

That was a big one. But you did it. That shows how strong and courageous you are. Let this experience help you with other things you may be afraid of doing. You just proved that our fears are not really as scary as they seem. Keep it up. You did good. :)
