started a new location today (happens to be right across the street from my house) but was still scared out of my mind. I was more scared and nervous at home anticipating it. once i got there i felt good. had a little waves of anxiety but tried my positive self talk and it helped. i even brought my flash card with me. im on session 2. i cant wait to get through this whole program. when i was off, i wanted to stay and work more because i felt so good. i was shocked. the people were nice. i did take an tivan whike at home because i was freaking out but tomorrow i will try not to take one and use my tools from the program. the ativan made me pretty tired and i dont want to be tired at work. anyway, i made it to day 1 of my new job and even said minutes before to me bf that i didnt think i can go. . but i forced myself. its always better when you face your fear AND have the tools. . before i didnt have the tools so i was hard on me.

You are awesome! Great job. You will find that the program will help you in ways you couldn’t even think of. And your right...face your fears and show them that YOU run your life.

Also, keep the telephone of your mind open to peace, harmony, health, love and happiness. Then whenever doubt, anxiety, or fear tries to call you, they will keep getting a busy signal and soon they'll forget your number
:p

Holly - that is awesome! I am so happy for you. You know, when I started my new job, the first day, I sat in the parking lot and cried. I called my boyfriend at the time and told him I didn't think I could do it. I just didn't think I was going to make it. That is how nervous I was. I went in there and I did it and I felt GOOD. I was so shocked. It's amazing how much we work ourselves up for NOTHING, absolutely nothing. The anticipation is always far worse than going, keep that in mind!!
