You know, my cat has anxiety. He's currently having fur-apy and is on a daily dose of purr-zac.

:D

Is he shedding his anxiety and becoming more social, too? :)

No kidding here- my dog used to lay in front of the door when we were getting ready to leave in the morning. She'd bit if you tried to move her. The vet said it was separation anxiety and wanted to put her on puppy prozac. We declined and moved her to the yard. She's terrified of the rain. She hears the thunder long before you can. She freaks out- literally- running for her house, or under the porch, or trying to scratch her way in through the door. She has terrible social anxiety- she doesn't mind the cows and donkeys, but other dogs and goats make her absolutely shake. I guess this stuff runs in our family- lol

That is great. Animals are a major help as they love so unconditionally. Our BoarderCollie is the same way and is totally afraid of the rain. He is brave with all animals and people but let it rain and even come close to thunder and he is a baby.
Our 2 Labs are afraid of a spray water bottle but dive in the lake or pool. We have 2 cats and they are also good for when I'm feeling sad. Always a good laugh. One has compulsive jumping disorder as she jumps up continually until the door opens. Or she will try to scratch the glass door working hard and going no where. But is otherwise mentally healthy. :)
