My husband suffers from high blood pressure, but refuses to see a doctor. I've purchased a home blood pressure monitor
that tracks results for up to three weeks. While I think the home monitor is a great guide, I'm not sure I trust its accuracy. Does anyone know if home blook pressure monitoring kits are considered accurate, and are there any operation tips you can suggest to improve accuracy? Thanks!

Hi,
Can you take your blood pressure meter along to your next doctor appointment? After they take your pressure with the clinic's meter, ask them to take it again right away using your meter. That's what I did, and my home meter turned out to be accurate.

Hello I don't know anything about blood pressure monitors, but I have gotten off blood pressure medicine by walking and changing my diet. if your husband doesn't see a doctor he is at great health risk. you didn't say how old he is or if he's over weight. This is really nothing to fool around with; we are talking life or death.
