Hello All:
Long story short, I no longer watch any local or international news programs on television. Don't ask me any questions about current events during a conversation because I don't have a clue !
I found that watching television news, or even reading the newspaper caused me great anxiety. I just don't do it anymore. I still watch television, but I choose my programs wisely. Yes, there is still some quality programming on TV, you just have to search it out.
Humor for anxiety absolutely works, whether it is viewed on a screen or read in a book or voiced by a person. You can also look for humor in everyday life. If you cannot find it you can always create your own.

Thank you for your post. I also have to be picky on what I watch. They are shows that if I watch I get very depressed. I am glad that I am not the only one that this happens to.

I just noticed that I have 719 posts on this website !
How did THAT happen !
I should have carpel tunnel syndrome by now after all of that typing.
I bought the program in 2010 and I worked it in 2010 and 2011.
I just started posting again recently, but before that I had not posted for 1 1/2 years ?
