I get anxious thinking about sleep. I had panic attacks before surgery. Now it seems they come all night. I had the sleep study done. All is okay. Do not know how to get rid of the fear of sleep, which leads to panic attacks.

I know what it is like to be afraid of something even though it seems like something small. Try reading a book so that you relax and get sleepy and fall asleep naturally. I would also suggest praying before you go to bed no matter what religion you are pray to God. By doing this it brings warth and comfort into your heart. Try not to think about sleeping so much. Jus focus on how tired you feel and how good it will feel to finally put your feet up and head back on the soft pillow.
