I would like to know if anybody has this similar symptom. I can be doing just fine during the day and boom - a big wave of nausea hits. I feel like either passing out or throwing up. This lasts for 6-8 hours and feels just like I am getting the flu. I have had blood work done and it always comes back normal. I feel this isn't anxiety. This is something else. I have anxiety too but it usually only lasts a short time and I can work through it. This other nausea lasts too long and I have to go lay down. Anyone else have this for this amount of time? Please help.

Most people just have nausea during a panic attack with their racing heart symptoms. Mine is nausea all by itself. That is why I am asking for your input. thanks

Yes, I experience waves of nausea quite often. I have gone to bed with my trashcan next to my bed, in fear of waking up mid-sleep to throw up, but sure enough I never do. I have had bloodwork done as well and it always comes back normal. Hope that makes you feel better to know you're not alone!

Do they check your electrolytes (potassium and sodium) with the bloodwork? This may be more for folks in their 60s or later years, but my Mother's and aunt's electrolytes were way out of line a couple of times. However, as far as I know this causes lack of energy and passing out more than nausea. Just a thought.

I knew somebody who used to get so nervous they'd throw up before going to school.
Throwing up and nausea can be symptoms of anxiety.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! I guess I need to just accept that it is part of anxiety but I am so sick of feeling like I am going to throw up all the time. Uuuggh.

I get that sick feeling very often...i am constantly taking tums and maloxx....i also get alot of acid reflux....i do have to say it usually does not last that long, maybe it is because i take some meds to stop it...also it is not really everyday....maybe you should just go to a gastro doctor to check up on it...then you will definantly know what it is.
