In order for anyone to help you, we need a little more than question marks. What form of emotional detachment are you referring to?

Boy, I wish I could help you with that one, but I am totally opposite - I'm co-dependent on my husband and I just want to be with him all the time. It's a control issue too because I think if he's with me, I can keep him safe and when he's with me I know he's safe. I have a really hard time during the day when he's at work because I don't know what's going on and don't have any control over what happens. I should be thankful in this day and time that he has a good job, but if I could have it my way, I'd have him at home 24/7. I hope you have God in your life, because He is a big source of help for me.

Oh yes, He is my #1 source! Everyday, all day. I consult him with everything.

I wish you the best, you will come out of it. Push through those feelings, embrace them and let them pass through you, you'll see he is ok and you can be dependent on yourself! Learn to love the YOU the everyone else loves.
